Mario Peserico, President INDICAM

Mario Peserico has been Director General of Eberhard & Co. and Managing Director of Eberhard Italia Spa since 2002. Since 2005 and until March 2023, he was President of Assorologi (a trade association representing manufacturers and importers of watches and watchmaking supplies). Since 2022 he has been President of the Standing Committee for European Watchmaking – CPHE – a European body that fosters relations between the EU delegation and the Swiss delegation. Since October 2013 he has been President of INDICAM. From November 2013 to March 2023, he was Vice-President of Unione Confcommercio Milano (a body representing businesses, trade, tourism and services in Milan) with responsibility for security, unlawful trade and counterfeiting. Since 2021 he has been Vice-President of Swiss Chamber (Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Italy). He is a member of the Boards of Directors of Erion Compliance Organization, Erion Energy and CAPAC (Polytechnic of Commerce).

Antonio Lirosi, Director General for Industrial Property UIBM

Antonio Lirosi is Director General of the General Directorate for Industrial Property – Italian Patent and Trademark Office of the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy (MIMIT) since 1 January 2024. Official at the Italian Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture (Unioncamere) from 1988 to 1995. First level state executive since 1997 c/o the Ministry where he held the following positions: Director General for Market Harmonization and Consumer Protection (1997-2002 and 2006-2007); President of the National Council of Consumers and Users (1998-2000); Head of the Department for Market Regulation (2008); Price Supervisor (January 2008-February 2009); Secretary General (February-May 2014); Director General for Electronic Communication, Broadcasting and Postal Services (December 2014-October 2019); Director General for Industrial Property Protection – Italian Patent and Trademark Office (October 2019-October 2022).

Patricia García-Escudero Márquez, Director Observatory EUIPO

Patricia García-Escudero joined the EUIPO in March 2019 as Director of the Academy. Since January 2024 she is Director of the European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights. Before joining the EUIPO she was Director General of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, and at international level she has held the positions of Chairperson of the Management Board of the EUIPO, Member of the Administrative Council of the European Patent Office (EPO), Member of the Management Board of EUIPO and Delegate in the Assemblies of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) representing Spain. She has been lecturer at the most renowned masters on IP in Spain and promoter of the creation of masters and courses in IP. She has taught and organized courses and lectures in all aspects of IP in Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia.

Davide Bartolucci, CEO Shado The media company of H-FARM

Born in 1974, he has been involved in communication and new media since 1995. Between 1998 and 2003, first as a designer and then as internet project manager, he was part of Giacometti Associati, a branding agency that created the corporate identity of Benetton and Aprilia. During the “new economy” years, he worked on positioning and identity strategies in e-commerce projects developed for Arthur Andersen and Deloitte Consulting, also experimenting with the first online editorial projects of web radio and web TV, constantly seeking integration between content and emerging technologies. A specialist in branding and new forms of entertainment, he joined the H-FARM project from its initial phase and in 2007 founded SHADO, a company highly specialized in the production of original content and interactive publishing platforms, of which he is currently the CEO, representing H-FARM Branding and Storytelling.

Leonardo Brustolin, Luca Granieri e Yasin Dibouch, Winners of the contest ‘Challenge The Fake’

Leonardo, Luca and Yasin are the H-FARM students who won the “Challenge the Fake” Contest organized by INDICAM and AMAZON thanks to the support of the H-FARM College. The three guys are studying Digital Management and as part of the awareness-raising project they promoted, they managed to enthuse with their anti-counterfeiting proposal dedicated to Gen Z by using unconventional channels to promote the message.

Elena Carpani, Partner EY and member of the Influencer WG

Elena assists clients in the areas of IP, advertising and communication law, unfair commercial practices, copyright law and unfair competition. Elena mainly deals with judicial and extrajudicial assistance assisting both Italian companies of relevant importance and foreign and multinational companies. She is invited to participate as a speaker in national conferences on the topics of advertising law and digital communication in various sectors. Awarded best advertising law lawyer of the year in 2018 and 2020.

Giorgio Greppi, Director Media Services Directorate AGCOM

Giorgio Greppi has been working at Agcom, the National Authority for Communications Guarantees, since 2000. He is currently Director of the Audiovisual Media Services Directorate. During his years at Agcom, he has contributed to the drafting of the main national regulations on the protection of intellectual property and audiovisual media services; in this same field, he has carried out extensive research, benchmarking and comparative analyses aimed at identifying current trends and possible market evolutions for the purpose of drawing up appropriate regulatory policies. He has been a lecturer at the Master in Information Technology Law and Competition Policy at the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome and at the University of Milan. He is the author of numerous articles and publications in the field of audiovisual regulation and copyright.

Vincenzo Guggino, Secretary General IAP

Secretary General of the Istituto di Autodisciplina Pubblicitaria. A lecturer in various Masters in Communication, he is a member of the Executive Committee and Board of EASA – the European Advertising Standards Alliance; of the ‘Marketing Commission’ of the International Chamber of Commerce; of the Board of Directors of the Fondazione Pubblicità Progresso; of the ‘Advertising Commission’ of the Milan Chamber of Commerce; of the Editorial Committee of ‘Il Diritto Industriale’. He is the author of numerous publications on Advertising Law.

Massimiliano Dona, President National Consumers Union

Lawyer, freelance journalist, president of the Unione Nazionale Consumatori, the first historical association in Italy. But above all he is a podcaster and content creator: today he is the most followed populariser on consumer issues, with an aggregate of around 1 million followers on the various platforms!

On. Giulio Centemero, Chamber of Deputies

Giulio Centemero, born on 30 January 1979, is a member, in his second mandate of the Finance Commission at the Chamber of Deputies, as well as a member of the parliamentary network at the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, Vice President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, President of the Economic Commission of the same Assembly and President of the Parliamentary Intergroup of Friendship Italy – Armenia. A Chartered Accountant and Auditor, he graduated in Economics and Business at the University of Bergamo; he holds an Executive Master’s degree in PA management from SDA Bocconi and a graduate certificate in project management from Boston University. He worked at IBM and PWC before setting up his own business and focusing on board services. He collaborated with Matteo Salvini in the European Parliament. Author of the book: ‘NFT and Metaverse in the creative industries’, (Castelvecchi 2024) he has published interviews and articles in generalist and financial magazines. Fintech, capital markets and AI are among his main areas of interest and study.

Prof. Laurent Manderieux, Adjunct Professor IP Bocconi University and President EIPTN

In addition to teaching intellectual property, numerous publications and research activities on intellectual property at Bocconi, one of the most prestigious and listed universities in the European Union, Laurent Manderieux is a senior intellectual property expert for several international organizations and governments. He was for many years an official of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland, where he provided training and information to government officials, lawyers, researchers, scientists and the business community (in this capacity he prepared training materials and publications on intellectual property and gave up to 100 presentations a year). Before joining WIPO, he also worked for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome and for the European Union in Brussels. Over the past two decades, he has authored numerous publications, reports and studies in many areas of intellectual property, trade and intellectual property, intellectual property and development, and has undertaken international IP projects for the EU, EPO, UNDP, UNCTAD, WIPO, IDLO, OIF and various governments. In this context, he has visited some 145 countries. He works in Italian, English, French, Spanish and German.
